原作者 Riley Lee 介紹:
Riley Lee 於1971年在日本開始學吹尺八，1980年他成為第一位獲得尺八「大師範級」的非日本人。並於1984年向橫山勝也拜師學習。
他在夏威夷完成音樂的學士及碩士學位，並獲得雪梨音樂學的博士學位。
2008年世界尺八大會，擔任執委會的主席及藝術總監。

長久以來，有太多嗜好，但總覺得每一項總少了點什麼的？
約3年前轉學尺八後，才發現原來它是我的最愛，尤其它也是內人所喜歡的！
以前每日不摸個8圈總覺癢癢的，現在把時間轉為每日不吹個八回就感空空洞洞的！
最近常有人問起為何吹尺八，卻說不出所以然！
